8、目前主要科学研究领域和兴趣:
主要从事生物材料与再生医学研究,重点研究大豆蛋白质、纤维素、壳聚糖、淀粉等天然高分子及其改性材料在神经组织工程、皮肤组织工程和骨组织工程领域中的应用。已主持国家自然科学基金、国家留学基金委国外合作项目、湖北省自然科学基金、湖北省卫生厅科技人才基金、湖北省自然科学基金计划青年杰出人才等项目多项,合作参与国家863计划、国家自然科学基金重点项目等多项课题研究。发表SCI收录论文近100篇。主编专著2部、教材1部,参编教材、专著4部;授权专利10项。
